Upcoming dates

DATE CHANGE (due to weather)
August 27 - Welcome Grill & Games, 5:00pm - 7:30pm -
This is a fun event to welcome back existing students, welcome new students, and just have fun before school starts. For many new students, it's a chance to meet a few classmates before school starts, so that the first day of school is a much easier transition. And, how can anything with hot dogs, watermelon, songs, friends, and sun be anything but fun!

September 1 - Labor Day (No School, No extended care)

September 2 - 1st Day of School ‘08-09’

news

March 28, 2008 - Jump Rope for Heart - Our students raised $4,474 for the American Heart Association through pledges for the Jump Rope for Heart. Many students had not jump roped much before this event; our staff really enjoyed watching them go from beginners to great jump ropers! What a healthy way to raise money! Great job!

March 25, 2008 - Every year the 3rd and 4th grade students raise Salmon from eggs. On March 25th, the Salmon were mature enough, so the whole school participated in releasing the Salmon into the Hylebos Creek. It was fun and important, because we are caring for our environment by helping the declining Salmon population.

February 12, 2008 - Our Parent Association was honored by WFIS as "Best of Washington" parents. The award ceremony was at the Museum of Flight. Our parents ARE the best!

November 21, 2007 -- Mrs. Marta Justus Foldi's husband, Andrew Foldi, passed away at 81.
