Spring Valley Montessori School is a Washington State Board of Education approved private school, which means we meet or exceed all state standards for health, safety, and education.
Note that not all private schools are approved by our state.

our french program

Spring Valley Montessori offers an intensive French Program for all students, even Preschoolers. Statistics show the best time to learn a 2nd language is during the early years (ages 1 - 6).

We are becoming certified as an SEVP-approved school to issue Form I-20. (We’re not yet certified.)

Watch the local news channels (KOMO 4, KING 5, & KIRO 7) until all public and private schools have been announced. Look for: Federal Way Public Schools.

If Federal Way Schools are closed	We are closed	No AM or PM extended care
If Federal Way Schools are 1 hour late	We open 1 hour late: · 3^rd – 8^th grades starts at 9:30am. · All other classes start at 10:00am.	No AM extended care
If Federal Way Schools are 2 hours late	We open 1 hour late: · 3^rd – 8^th grades starts at 9:30am. · All other classes start at 10:00am.	No AM extended care
If Federal Way Schools close early	We will close early (at the same time as FW schools)	No PM extended care

TIP: Receive a text message alert on your cell phone that lets you know if Spring Valley Montessori is closed.

For Extended Care students: If it snows during winter or spring break, Federal Way Schools may be closed. Please check local news for Spring Valley’s own announcement.
