Visit from Brownie "the bomb sniffing dog"

Mrs. Overson arranged to have a bomb sniffing dog (Brownie) and his handler visit our school, show us what his dog does, and how he and his dog work together to keep us safe. He said there are many other types of jobs that dogs are trained to do, including sniffing for drugs, rescuing people in the snow, keeping police officers safe, and so on. It was a fun event, and we all learned a lot!
