French Lunch

Mrs. Sweeney, who teaches life skills, and Madame Baslé, our French teacher, helped the students plan their French meal, went shopping with them at Pike's Place Market, and then helped them prepare a full French meal. What a great experience, and a fun way to experience the cuisine of another country.

Note: All students (Preschool through 8th Grade) have French weekly. By the time the students are in the older grades, they have become quite fluent, and are writing in French. Our students can usually "test out" of the foreign language requirement in High School, and sometimes in College.
